For yeeeeears, I was ob.sess.ed with magazines. VIBE, Real Simple, Essence, Honey, Suede, XXL, King, Black Enterprise, American Legacy, Natural Health, Body & Soul – you name it, I had to have it. It was a problem.
It got so deep that I REFUSED to do subscriptions because I loved the thrill of browsing the shelves of magazine shops and bookstores. Thinking about how much money I must of spent is painful.
In the name of reducing clutter and new-life reuse, I’ve decided to cut up my old mags, file away the articles I still want and use the rest for a mixed media collage.
A few weekends ago, the Kool Kids Kraft Klub (What, haven’t heard of us yet? No worries, you will!) hit up Etsy Labs and I bought my HUGE sack-o-magazines along.
