I’m still processing all that has happened and is happening in Haiti. I’ve been crying from from frustration, sadness, anger, disbelief, gratitude and joy – often, simultaneously.
A little while after the first earthquake, Hot97’s Mr. Cee, with the help of DJ. Stakz, played a full hour of Haitian music on the radio. I’ve had this mix on repeat these past few days and the music is definitely helping with the healing.
Sometimes only our song and our feet can express the pain.
